Classic BLT Sandwich

Origin: The BLT sandwich was created in the early 1900s and became a popular American sandwich during World War II.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of your favorite bread
- 6 strips of bacon, cooked to your preference
- 2 leaves of lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions:
- Toast your bread in a toaster or on a frying pan until it's golden brown.
- Wash the lettuce leaves and tomato slices and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Spread the mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the lettuce leaves on one slice of bread.
- Add the tomato slices on top of the lettuce.
- Season the tomato slices with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Add the bacon strips on top of the tomato slices.
- Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.
- Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve it.
