This recipe is a classic deli sandwich that is quick and easy to make, yet comforting and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of your favorite bread (white, wheat, rye, sourdough, etc.)
- 3 oz. thinly sliced chicken deli meat
- 1 leaf of lettuce
- 1 slice of tomato
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Toast your bread in a toaster or on a skillet.
- On one slice of bread, spread the mayonnaise and on the other slice, spread the mustard.
- Place the chicken slices over the mustard side of the bread.
- Add the lettuce leaf over the chicken slices and then place the tomato slice on top.
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top of the tomato.
- Put the mayonnaise side of the bread on top of the tomato.
- Slice the sandwich diagonally, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
