This easy chocolate sauce is rich, smooth, and takes just a few minutes to make. It’s the ideal topping for your Oat Banana Chocolate Pancakes!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons stevia (or adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (for added richness)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
-
Mix the Ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, almond milk, stevia, and coconut oil. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
-
Heat the Sauce: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens slightly and is smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Don’t let it boil to keep the texture creamy.
-
Add Vanilla: If you're using vanilla extract, stir it in once the sauce is thickened.
-
Serve: Drizzle the warm chocolate sauce over your pancakes and enjoy the heavenly experience!
Flavor Profile: This chocolate sauce is rich and silky, balancing well with the sweetness of your pancakes. It's intensely chocolatey, and the coconut oil adds a luscious texture that takes it over the top.
You now have a glorious stack of pancakes with a decadent chocolate sauce to drizzle on top! If you need any further adjustments, just let me know! Enjoy!
