- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, grated parmesan, minced garlic (if using), fresh herbs (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
