- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Parchment paper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the honey, milk, and vanilla extract, until well combined.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into small balls of about 2 inches in diameter.
- Flatten each ball with your hands and shape it into a round or oval shape; lightly score it on the top with a knife to help it cook evenly.
- Place the flattened balls about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving or storing.
