These Chicken Dim Sum bites combine succulent chicken with a traditional Chinese seasoning blend, perfect for both steamed and fried preparation.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying (if making fried dim sum)
Cooking Instructions:
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the chicken mixture.
-
To assemble the dim sum, place a small amount of the chicken filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Fold and seal the edges to form a dumpling shape. For steamed dim sum, place the dumplings in a steamer lined with parchment paper and steam for about 8-10 minutes until cooked through. For fried dim sum, heat oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until golden and crispy.
-
Serve the Chicken Dim Sum hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as soy sauce with a splash of rice vinegar and a sprinkle of chili flakes.
Enjoy the aromatic flavors of the Chinese seasoning blend in these versatile Chicken Dim Sum bites! They make a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.
