Ingredients:
- 1 cup gum base
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon strawberry flavoring
- Pink food coloring
Instructions:
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the gum base in 30-second intervals until it's completely melted and smooth. Stir well after each interval.
-
Once the gum base is melted, add the corn syrup and mix well until fully combined.
-
Add the powdered sugar, strawberry flavoring, and a few drops of pink food coloring to the gum base mixture. Stir until the mixture starts to come together.
-
Transfer the mixture to a clean surface and knead it like you would with dough. If the mixture becomes too sticky, sprinkle a little more powdered sugar on your hands and the surface.
-
Roll the gum mixture into a long log shape and cut it into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
-
Wrap each piece in wax paper squares or store them in an airtight container. Let them sit for a few hours to fully set before enjoying.
-
Now, you've got homemade strawberry bubble gum candy!
