Tell us what you tried to do, what happened and whether you used the website, iOS, Android or ChatGPT. Include the error message and your account email if you need help identifying the account. Share a recipe name or link only if you want us to review it.
Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, card details or complete conversations.
Sign in with the same method you used to create your account. If a recipe is missing, check your account email in Profile and open My Recipes.
If you use email and password, the password recovery link on the sign-in screen lets you reset your password.
A recipe shown in a chat or preview is not confirmation that it is saved in your collection. Choose to save, then open the saved recipe from My Recipes to check its contents.
When using an available ChatGPT connection, ask to save the exact recipe you reviewed and check the returned link. New recipes saved through that connection are private. Publishing a recipe and favoriting an existing recipe are separate actions from saving it.
To use a recipe again or check an edit, open the saved record. If you ask ChatGPT to retrieve it, specify that you want the current saved MyChefAI recipe and its link.
If MyChefAI appears among the connections available in your ChatGPT, follow the process shown there. Check the MyChefAI account and permissions before approving access. If the connection is unavailable, you can use MyChefAI directly and email us for help.
You can disconnect MyChefAI through ChatGPT's connection settings. Disconnecting does not delete recipes saved in MyChefAI or data already included in ChatGPT conversations. Manage those conversations through ChatGPT's controls.
Use video conversion only when your import screen or connected tool offers it. The public YouTube converter accepts regular HTTPS youtube.com/watch video links and youtu.be links. That converter does not support Shorts, TikTok or Instagram Reels.
The video must be public and provide a useful recipe description or usable transcript. A private, deleted or incomplete video may not produce a recipe. Review the ingredients and steps; missing amounts should remain unspecified.
A video preview does not save or publish a recipe by itself. Conversion can use the preview limit even if you do not save the recipe. If a limit is shown, wait until the displayed time before trying again. If you already saved the recipe, open it from My Recipes to avoid another conversion.
If conversion is unavailable or fails, you can paste the recipe text into a MyChefAI chat.
Read the privacy policy to learn how your data is used. To delete your account, follow the account deletion page or use Delete account in Profile.
If you cannot sign in, email support@mychefai.com from the address linked to your account with the subject Account Deletion Request. Check the deletion page for which data is removed and what happens to published recipes.
