- 1 medium cabbage, finely shredded

- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons oil (coconut oil, if available)
Cooking Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- Add the finely chopped onion to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and black pepper, and sauté for another minute until the spices are fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and mix well to coat it with the spices.
- Season with salt and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cabbage is tender but still retains some crunch.
- Gently fold in the roasted coconut and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat.
