Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canned tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Start by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain the canned tuna from its liquid and mix with rolled oats, raisins, and all-purpose flour.
- Dice the tuna into small pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add the baking soda, baking powder, and pinch of salt to the creamed mixture.
- Add the dry ingredients to the mixture slowly, beating until you have a smooth dough.
- Add the tuna to the dough, mixing until well combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Leave about 2 inches between each ball, as they will spread as they cook.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until light golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
