Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve and enjoy these delicious, chewy, and sweet chocolate chip cookies!
These cookies are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and make a great treat for any occasion. Feel free to adjust the baking time if you prefer your cookies more soft or crispy. Happy baking!
