This creamy and satisfying pudding is rich in fiber and omega-3s. It can be made ahead of time, making it perfect for busy mornings!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chia seeds
- 4 cups oat milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 2-4 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Toppings: Fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, granola, or coconut flakes
Cooking Instructions:
-
Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl or a large jar, combine the chia seeds, oat milk, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract (if using). Stir well to mix.
-
Stir Again: Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent the chia seeds from clumping together.
-
Refrigerate: Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. The chia seeds will expand and absorb the liquid, turning into a thick pudding-like consistency.
-
Serve: Once the pudding is set, give it a good stir. Spoon the chia seed pudding into bowls or jars, and top with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit (like strawberries or bananas), nuts, granola, or coconut flakes.
Flavor Profile:
Chia Seed Pudding is creamy with a slight sweetness, and the toppings add texture and flavor. The slight nuttiness from the chia seeds pairs beautifully with the creamy milk, creating a delightful breakfast option that’s both satisfying and nutritious.
I hope you enjoy making this lovely pudding, dear! If you have any adjustments or questions while preparing it, just let me know!
