These cookies are a delightful treat that combines the richness of chocolate spread with the classic cookie texture. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate spread
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup milk (adjust if needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda until well mixed.
- Add the chocolate spread and oil to the dry ingredients, then stir to combine.
- Gradually add the milk, mixing until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too thick, add a little more milk.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. The cookies will firm up as they cool.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Flavor Profile
These cookies are soft and chewy with rich chocolate notes from the spread, balanced with a subtle sweetness from the sugar. The oil gives them a tender texture, making them utterly irresistible!
