There's nothing quite like the simple comfort of scrambled eggs. This dish brings warmth and satisfaction to any breakfast table. Perfect for a quick meal or a leisurely brunch, these fluffy eggs will make your mornings brighter!
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream (optional, for creaminess)
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- Chopped fresh herbs (like chives or parsley) for garnish (optional)
Cooking Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt completely, swirling it to coat the bottom of the pan.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Let it sit for a few seconds until the edges begin to set.
- Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges toward the center. Continue cooking, allowing uncooked eggs to flow to the edges and set.
- Remove the skillet from the heat while the eggs are still slightly soft and slightly runny (they will continue to cook from residual heat).
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Flavor Profile
These scrambled eggs are wonderfully creamy and rich, with a touch of buttery goodness. The salt and freshly cracked pepper enhance the natural flavor of the eggs, making each bite comforting and delightful.
