Creamy Butter Paneer

Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and kasuri methi. Stir to combine.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the paneer cubes. Gently mix them into the gravy, ensuring the paneer is coated well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring gently.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
- Serve hot with naan or rice.
