These flavorful steak bites are tender and bursting with savory garlic and herb goodness. Perfect for a quick dinner or an appetizer!
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Cooking Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the cubed sirloin steak to the marinade and toss until the steak is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the marinated steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If your air fryer is small, you may need to do this in batches.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. The steak should be browned on the outside and cooked to your desired doneness.
- If desired, drizzle the steak with balsamic vinegar after cooking for extra depth of flavor.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Flavor Profile
This dish boasts a savory garlic flavor enhanced by fragrant herbs, with a little kick from the red pepper flakes. The balsamic vinegar adds a hint of sweetness, balancing the savory notes beautifully.
