Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup raw milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 tablespoon lemon juice (to enhance peach flavor)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine the diced peaches, raw milk, and about half of the sugar. Blend until smooth, leaving some small peach pieces for texture if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, remaining sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined and sugar is dissolved.
- Add the peach mixture to the cream mixture and stir until fully incorporated. If using, add the lemon juice for an extra zing.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop out and serve, perhaps with a sprinkle of extra cinnamon on top for an extra treat!
