These decadent brownies are oh-so-easy to whip up, and the rich layers of peanut butter swirled throughout make them absolutely irresistible! Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, and they’ll surely impress anyone who tries them!
Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus the ingredients required by the package)
- 1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping, if desired)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions.
- Prepare the brownie batter by following the directions on the box, usually mixing the brownie mix with oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl until just combined.
- In a separate small bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 20-30 seconds to soften it slightly, making it easier to swirl.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased baking dish (typically 8x8 inches).
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter over the brownie batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer.
- Using a knife or skewer, swirl the peanut butter into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
- Sprinkle some additional chocolate chips on top if you’d like!
- Bake according to the brownie mix package directions, usually around 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let them cool slightly before cutting into squares and serve!
