Ingredients
- 8 oz. of egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/2 cup of chopped celery
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen peas, onion, celery, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the tuna mixture and toss everything together until thoroughly combined.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture, covering the surface.
- Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden and the breadcrumbs are crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
