Using the air fryer makes cooking steak effortless and gives you that perfect sear right at home. This dish is quick, juicy, and oh-so-tender!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Cooking Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary (or thyme), smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the sirloin steak, making sure it's coated well. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature for a touch of flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated sirloin steak in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, for medium-rare. Adjust the time as needed for your desired doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Flavor Profile:
This air-fried sirloin steak is wonderfully savory with a hint of garlic and herb freshness, complemented by the mild smokiness from paprika. The high heat of the air fryer locks in the juices, leaving you with a tender, flavorful steak every time!
