Apple Cider Vinaigrette Salad

Ingredients
- 6 cups mixed greens (your choice)
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
For the vinaigrette:
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Begin by washing and drying the mixed greens. Arrange them in a large salad bowl.
- Thinly slice the red onion and add it to the bowl.
- Core and slice the Granny Smith apples and add them to the bowl as well.
- Lastly, add the chopped walnuts to the bowl.
- To make the vinaigrette, combine the apple cider vinegar, extra-virgin olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mason jar. Shake well until everything is fully combined.
- Dress the salad with the vinaigrette and toss well until everything is evenly coated.
