Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 250g minced beef (or any preferred mince)
- 1 cup store-bought Bolognese sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Cooking Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the minced beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spoon until browned all over.
- Pour in the store-bought Bolognese sauce and stir well. Add the dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and cracked black pepper. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti in the sauce, ensuring the noodles are well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
