Ingredients:
- 1 cup pancake mix
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, everything bagel seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix and cottage cheese. Slowly add water and knead the mixture until a dough forms. Add a little more water if needed to make a smooth, slightly sticky dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
- With your finger, poke a hole through the center of each dough ball and gently stretch to form a bagel shape.
- Place the shaped bagels on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, brush the tops with water and sprinkle on your choice of toppings like sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything bagel seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the bagels are nicely golden brown.
