Ingredients:
- 2 steak cuts (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak cuts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Drizzle olive oil over the steak cuts and rub to evenly coat.
- Grill the steaks to your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Adjust the cooking time based on your preference and steak thickness.
- While the steaks are grilling, prepare the gorgonzola sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the gorgonzola cheese and heavy cream over low heat. Stir constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Keep warm.
- Steam the broccoli florets: Fill a pot with a few inches of water and bring it to a boil. Place the broccoli florets in a steamer basket and place it over the boiling water. Cover the pot and steam the broccoli for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove from steam and set aside.
- In a separate skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked rice and steamed broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
- Season the rice and broccoli mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- To serve, place a scoop of the rice and broccoli mixture on each plate. Top with a grilled steak cut, and generously spoon the creamy gorgonzola sauce over the steak.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately.
