Creamy Ham and Cheese Panini

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat, your choice)
- 4 oz thinly sliced deli ham

- 2 oz cream cheese, softened

- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat a panini press, pan, or grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to make the garlic herb spread.
- Spread a generous amount of the garlic herb spread onto each slice of bread.
- Layer the thinly sliced ham and cheese onto two slices of bread, then top with the remaining slices of bread.
- Spread the softened butter onto the outside of each sandwich.
- Grill the sandwiches on the panini press, pan, or grill for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Slice each sandwich in half and serve hot as is or with a side of your favorite soup or salad.
