- 8 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded normal cheese (like mozzarella or gouda)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions:
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until it's bubbly and golden.
