Ingredients
- 12 mini bella mushrooms

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra texture)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Classico tomato sauce, for drizzling
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently clean the mini bella mushrooms and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and chop the stems finely.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems, cooking until softened (about 2-3 minutes).
- In a bowl, combine the cooked garlic and mushroom stems with the grated gouda cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs (if using). Mix well until combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the gouda mixture, pressing down slightly to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle some Classico tomato sauce over each stuffed mushroom.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
