- 1 pound of ground beef or turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 zucchini, diced

- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lasagna noodles (choose dairy-free options)
- Olive oil

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.

- Repeat the layers, alternating between the meat and vegetable sauce and lasagna noodles. Ensure the top layer is the sauce.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the lasagna is bubbly and golden on top.
- Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
