Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dry mustard powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the dry mustard powder and water until a thick paste forms. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the mustard to dissolve.
- In a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric powder, and garlic powder.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Once the sugar and salt have dissolved, remove it from the heat.
- Add the mustard paste to the saucepan and stir until well combined.
- Pour the mustard mixture into a clean glass jar and let cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, cover the jar with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate until ready to use.
