Ingredients:
- 180 g rolled oats
- 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 40 g cocoa butter (melted)
- 50 g sunflower seed butter
- 50 g dried fruits (raisins and apricots, preferably low moisture)
- 30 g whey protein powder (unflavored or chocolate-flavored)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 20 g chia seeds
- 100-200 mg Vitamin E oil (as a natural preservative)
Cooking Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, whey protein powder, and chia seeds (if using). Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, gently melt the cocoa butter until it is liquid.
- Add the melted cocoa butter, sunflower seed butter, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and vitamin E oil (mix well) into the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
- If adding dried fruit (like raisins and apricots), chop them into smaller pieces and fold them into the mixture.
- Line a small baking dish (approximately 6x6 inches) with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
- Chill in the fridge for about 2 hours until set.
- Once set, remove from the dish using the parchment paper and cut into bars.
