Owens Kombucha Scooby Leather

This recipe is a delicious way to transform your leftover kombucha SCOBYs into a healthy and flavorful snack! Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients
- 4-5 Kombucha SCOBYs
- 1/2 cup of Kombucha tea
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 2 tbsp of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 145°F.
- In a saucepan, combine the Kombucha tea, maple syrup, coconut sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Cut the Kombucha SCOBYs into strips or bite-sized pieces.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the Kombucha SCOBY pieces in a single layer.
- Brush the Kombucha SCOBYs with the syrup mixture and place the tray in the oven.
- Let the Kombucha SCOBYs dry in the oven for 6-8 hours or until they are no longer sticky.
- Take the baking sheet out of the oven and let the Kombucha Scooby leather cool down for a few minutes.
- Peel the kombucha scooby leather off of the parchment paper and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
- Enjoy your Owen's Kombucha Scooby Leather as a healthy snack or crushed over your oatmeal or yogurt.
