Ratman's Spicy Chicken Delight is a fusion of Indian and Mexican spices that is perfect for those who love their food with a bit of heat. The creamy tomato-based sauce is infused with aromatic spices that will tickle your taste buds, while juicy pieces of chicken add a meaty texture to this flavorful dish. Here's how to make it:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and add minced onions and garlic. Cook until onions are softened and start to turn golden brown.
Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for 5-8 minutes or until browned on all sides.
In a separate bowl, mix together ginger, cumin, coriander, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and cayenne pepper. Add the spice mixture to the skillet and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.
Pour in tomato puree and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season the dish with salt and pepper, to your liking.
Serve hot. This dish goes great with rice or naan bread. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves for added flavor and freshness.
