Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust.
- Reduce the heat to medium and pour the balsamic glaze over the pork chops in the skillet.
- Cook the chops for an additional 2-3 minutes on each side, spooning the glaze over them frequently, until the pork chops are cooked through and the glaze has thickened slightly.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Drizzle any remaining glaze from the skillet over the pork chops.
- Serve hot with a side dish of your choice such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
- Enjoy your succulent and tangy balsamic glazed pork chops!
Feel free to adjust the amount of glaze according to your taste preferences. If you want it sweeter, you can add more honey, or if you prefer it more tangy, increase the amount of balsamic vinegar.
