Baked Apple Almond Butter Toast

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of whole grain or multigrain bread
- Almond butter (as needed)
- 1 apple (preferably a crisp variety like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil or butter
- Optional toppings: sliced almonds, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a drizzle of maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Core the apple and slice it into thin rounds or wedges.
